Pressure sores and phytotherapy were discussed this week in our Vocational School.
Our Vocational School lecturer Mesut YILMAZ presented a seminar titled “The Effect of Phytotherapy in the Prevention of Pressure Sores”. The program held in the Governor Edoğan Bektaş Amphitheater was attended by our Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer. Özmen İSTEK, our academic staff and students attended the program. In the seminar, the types and treatment methods of pressure sores that may occur in patients undergoing surgery were mentioned. It was mentioned that various plants can be used as treatment. YILMAZ also drew attention to the need to be extremely careful when using these methods called phytotherapy. At the end of the seminar, our Director Dr. Lecturer. Özmen ISTEK gave the seminar to Prof. Dr. YILMAZ. Lecturer. Mesut YILMAZ was given a certificate of appreciation.
