A seminar titled “Cancer in Young People” was held in the Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall under the coordination of Muş Alparslan University Faculty of Health Sciences and Health Services Vocational School, in collaboration with Career Development Application and Research Center.

In the seminar organized within the scope of Traditional Health Days, Young Birikim Association Board Chairman Salih Yüce and Muş State Hospital Medical Oncology Unit Specialist Dr. Mustafa Özgür Arıcı were the speakers. The seminar was coordinated by Lecturer Dr. Murat Seven.

Salih Yüce, who survived cancer at a young age and later assumed the position of Young Birikim Association President, shared his personal struggle and experiences during the disease process with the participants in his speech with the slogan “I did it, you can too”. Specialist Dr. Mustafa Özgür Arıcı shared his clinical observations and scientific suggestions regarding the increasing cancer cases in young individuals in his presentation titled “Why is Cancer Increasing in Young People?”

The event, which aimed to contribute to the awareness of young people about health, attracted great attention. At the end of the seminar, certificates of appreciation were presented to the participants by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yılmaz. The program ended with a group photo.
